1.I am prone to breakouts and have oily skin. Will this cleanser help?
Purifying Cleansing Gel is the best cleanser for those who have oily or acne-prone skin. It contains Salicylic and Lactic Acids to stimulate healthy cell function by exfoliating dehydrated surface cells and deeply cleaning pores. It also contains strong cleansing agents to effectively remove excess oil and sebum.
2.What are the Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acids in the product?
The Alpha Hydroxy Acid in Purifying Cleansing Gel is Lactic Acid which can be naturally found in milk. The Beta Hydroxy Acid is Salicylic Acid derived from Willow Bark.
3.Why is it important to exfoliate the skin?
It is important for you to exfoliate the skin because aging causes the rate of cell renewal to slow down. Exfoliation removes dehydrated cells from the surface of the skin, smoothing it and enabling better penetration of other anti-aging products.
4.I have sensitive skin. Can I use this product?
No. We do not recommend Purifying Cleansing Gel to those with sensitive skin due to the high concentration of Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acids in the formula. It also contains strong cleansing agents, which benefit oily and acne-prone skin, but can irritate sensitive skin. For sensitive skin, we recommend using Gentle Cleansing Lotion.
5.Why is it packaged in a smaller bottle than the other cleansers in the line?
Purifying Cleansing Gel is packaged in a 3.4 fl. oz. bottle due to the concentrated formula. Only a small amount (dime-sized) is needed to effectively cleanse the face.
